Stats by rarity

Its set stat

Every Gilded piece has one stat that grows with the set. For Heirloom Blade it is power: that number is multiplied by how many Gilded pieces you wear. With two on it counts double, with five it counts five times. The card says it in words: "Wear 2 Gilded: 2x its power." 2 worn: +8, 3 worn: +12, 5 worn: +20 (Common, floor 1). See how sets work.

The Gilded set

Gilded Money is power.

  1. 2+30% gold find.
  2. 3Gain power equal to 2% of your gold.
  3. 5Strikes have a 25% chance to mint a coin: gold, and a bonus hit.

Where it is found

Heirloom Blade can be found from floor 1 on, in The Gilt Cellars and below: in the floor's market, from the merchant, in chests, as a drop, and in a boss's pick of three. Loot leans toward the sets you already wear, so wearing Gilded makes more of it turn up. Gilded starts locked: its pieces appear once you have won 20 battles while wearing two or more Warden pieces.

Price and selling

At Common, found on floor 1, Heirloom Blade is priced at 11 gold. Prices grow by 20% a floor, and the merchant below the first depth adds a quarter. Selling pays 40% of the price. An etching adds to both.

Merging it

Two copies of Heirloom Blade at the same rarity merge into one of the next rarity, up to Gilded. The merged piece keeps the higher level and the better etching.
