Set bonuses
Wear 2, 3 or 5 Rimeglass pieces and each tier below switches on. They add up: at five pieces you have all three.
- 2Strikes apply 1
chill. 3 chill freezes: the enemy skips its turn. - 3+40%
armor. +50% damage to frozen enemies. - 5Frozen enemies below 25% health shatter.
The fine print
- 2 pieces. Every strike adds 1 chill. At 3 chill the enemy freezes: its chill resets and it skips its next turn. From turn 11 nothing stays frozen.
- 3 pieces. A frozen enemy takes 50% more damage from everything.
- 5 pieces. A strike that leaves a frozen enemy below a quarter of its health kills it outright ("SHATTERED").
How it plays
The game's own set card sums Rimeglass up in three lines:
Strikes chill. 3 chills freeze a turn.
- Strong against: Every boss. Big single hitters.
- Weak against: Dodgers. Lost without its staff.
The set stat
Every Rimeglass piece has one stat, its set stat, that is multiplied by how many Rimeglass pieces you wear. Two pieces double each one's set stat, five pieces count it five times. That is why a third and fourth piece are worth more than their own numbers suggest. See how sets work.

Nine pieces: one for each of the seven slots, a second weapon and a second ring (you wear two rings). Stats shown are Common, found on floor 1.

Synergies
Two pieces of Rimeglass with two pieces of another set wake a synergy:
- Glacier Wall with Bulwark: Guarding chills every enemy.
- Frostlight with Starwrought: Casting a skill chills every enemy.
Heroes
Hero select lists Rimeglass as a good fit for Ossa, Brannoch, Ilse. Any hero can wear it.
Finding it
Rimeglass pieces appear from floor 1 on, in The Gilt Cellars and below. Loot leans toward the sets you already wear: each Rimeglass piece on you makes the next one more likely, and while you wear two or more the floor market and the merchant offer a piece you are missing. Winning 20 battles with two or more Rimeglass pieces on opens Starwrought.
