Set bonuses
Wear 2, 3 or 5 Cursegold pieces and each tier below switches on. They add up: at five pieces you have all three.
- 2+40%
power, -15% 
health. - 3+2% power for every 1% of health you are missing.
- 5Each strike spends 3% of your max health (never below 1) to deal double damage.
The fine print
- 3 pieces. You gain 2% power for every 1% of health you are missing, up to +200% at the brink.
- 5 pieces. Each strike costs you 3% of your maximum health (it can't take your last point) and deals double.
How it plays
The game's own set card sums Cursegold up in three lines:
Pay health to hit twice as hard.
- Strong against: Fights you can end in a turn or two.
- Weak against: Burn, poison, flurries, long fights.
The set stat
Every Cursegold piece has one stat, its set stat, that is multiplied by how many Cursegold pieces you wear. Two pieces double each one's set stat, five pieces count it five times. That is why a third and fourth piece are worth more than their own numbers suggest. See how sets work.

Nine pieces: one for each of the seven slots, a second weapon and a second ring (you wear two rings). Stats shown are Common, found on floor 21.

Synergies
Two pieces of Cursegold with two pieces of another set wake a synergy:
- Blood Moon with Eclipse: Each eclipse also heals 10% health.
Finding it
Cursegold pieces appear from floor 21 on, in The Hoard Heart and below, which is part of the full game. Loot leans toward the sets you already wear: each Cursegold piece on you makes the next one more likely, and while you wear two or more the floor market and the merchant offer a piece you are missing. Winning 12 battles with two or more Cursegold pieces on opens Eclipse.
