Eclipse
Power one turn, arcana the next.
Set bonuses
Wear 2, 3 or 5 Eclipse pieces and each tier below switches on. They add up: at five pieces you have all three.
- 2+15%
power, +15%
arcana. - 3Odd turns: +40%
power. Even turns: +40%
arcana. - 5Every 5th turn is an eclipse: all your strikes
crit.
The fine print
- 3 pieces. On odd turns you have +40% power, on even turns +40% arcana.
- 5 pieces. On turns 5, 10, 15 and so on, every strike you make is a crit.
How it plays
The game's own set card sums Eclipse up in three lines:
Power on odd turns, arcana on even ones.
- Strong against: Mixed foes. Every 5th turn, all crit.
- Weak against: Heavy armor on its power turns.
The set stat
Every Eclipse piece has one stat, its set stat, that is multiplied by how many Eclipse pieces you wear. Two pieces double each one's set stat, five pieces count it five times. That is why a third and fourth piece are worth more than their own numbers suggest. See how sets work.
Pieces
Nine pieces: one for each of the seven slots, a second weapon and a second ring (you wear two rings). Stats shown are Common, found on floor 21.
| Piece | Slot | Stats | Set stat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Head | +97 +97 +6% | +6% | |
| Neck | +97 +6% | +6% | |
| Chest | +195 +162 +65 | +65 | |
| Weapon | +130 +65 | +130 | |
| Legs | +97 +97 +5% | +5% | |
| Ring | +4% | +4% | |
| Feet | +65 +65 +3% | +3% | |
| Weapon | +162 +2% | +162 | |
| Ring | +8% | +8% |
Synergies
Two pieces of Eclipse with two pieces of another set wake a synergy:
- Blood Moon with Cursegold: Each eclipse also heals 10%
health.
Finding it
Eclipse pieces appear from floor 21 on, in The Hoard Heart and below, which is part of the full game. Loot leans toward the sets you already wear: each Eclipse piece on you makes the next one more likely, and while you wear two or more the floor market and the merchant offer a piece you are missing. Eclipse starts locked: its pieces appear once you have won 12 battles while wearing two or more Cursegold pieces.
