Boss guide
Three bosses, one at the bottom of each depth. Each asks one question of your build.

Numbers are for a plain descent with the Tally paid. Each boss's own page has his whole cycle.
Rules they share
- Unyielding. In his first two turns a boss can't be taken below half health. Nobody skips the opening; plan to live through it.
- A full cycle. A boss always starts at the top of his cycle, and his card shows all of it. You always know which turn the Heavy lands.
- A full room makes a Summon a Heavy. Leaving his helpers alive to avoid more of them costs you a double blow.
- The clock. From turn 11 he grows 15% a turn. The boss notice shows the pace that winning builds keep.
- The Tally. Unpaid, he is up to 40% stronger. See the Tally.
The Tallyman
- Guards turns 5, 10, 15. Pierce and arcana get past it.
- Heavy turns 2, 7, 12, more when his room is full. GUARD halves it.
- Below half health he hits 1.5x as hard.
- Kill his imps first: they hit and steal gold.

Mother Brine
- Kill her ghouls first: they keep her healing.
- Curses turns 1, 6, 11: you deal 30% less.
- Her ghouls poison you through armor.
- Heavy turns 2, 7, 12, more when her room is full. GUARD halves it.

Avarax
- Turn 1 he hits for 7,399: be able to take it.
- Scorch sets you on fire. Armor won't stop it.
- Rises once at 30% health. Burn and poison wiped.
- Below half health: 1.5x, from his next turn.
- Kill his drakelings first: they burn you too.
