A Scale of Avarax

Carrying it out

A treasure does nothing in a fight. It has to leave the vault with you: reach an altar (the one after a depth boss counts), win the run, or end the free descent at floor 10's sealed stair. From then on its boon applies to every normal run you start. Die while still carrying it and it stays in the vault to be found again.

Boons do not apply in the Daily Descent, the Season Descent or seed-code runs. Daily and seed-code runs hold no treasures; a Season Descent finds and carries them out like any run. The Codex's Uniques tab counts the treasures you have carried out.

Where it is found

A Scale of Avarax belongs to The Hoard Heart. That depth's boss guards one of its treasures you have not carried out yet, and a chest in that depth holds one 15% of the time.
