Wyn
The choir drowned mid-hymn. She is still singing their part. Her hymn builds to a chorus that hits them all.
Skill: Crescendo
Sing the next verse now, and deal 80%
arcana to the target.
80% of your arcana to the target, past armor, then the hymn sings its next verse at once. Cast it with one verse to go and the chorus rings there and then, before the enemies act; the ATTACK or GUARD that ends the turn then sings the first verse of the next hymn. Like every skill it costs mana only: it has no cooldown and does not end your turn.
Passive: Hymn
Each ATTACK or GUARD sings a verse. The third is the chorus: 100%
power +
arcana to every enemy, half again louder each time. A Heavy you don't GUARD breaks the hymn.
ATTACK and GUARD each sing one verse, after their own blows and before the enemies act; Crescendo sings one too. The third verse is the chorus, "CHORUS": every enemy takes your power plus arcana as arcane damage, which armor does not soak, and the hymn begins again. Each chorus in a battle rings half again as loud as the first. A Heavy that lands on her while she did not GUARD breaks the hymn, "HYMN BROKEN": the verses go back to none, and the next chorus is back to 100%. A Heavy she dodges, or that a blinded enemy misses, breaks nothing.
Specialization: Requiem
The hymn has four verses. Every enemy slain this battle joins the choir: the chorus deals +40% for each.
The hymn is four verses long, not three. Every enemy slain this battle adds 40% to the chorus, so with two down it rings at 180% before it swells, and it still swells half again with each chorus.
A specialization replaces the passive; you play one or the other. Wyn's opens when Wyn's own best floor is 20 or deeper, and you switch it in the hero's details at hero select. The Daily Descent and the Season Descent always use the base passive.
The hymn
The first time it matters on a run with Wyn, the game tells you:
Each ATTACK or GUARD sings a verse; the third hits them all. GUARD the Heavies, or the hymn breaks.
Small notes after her mana show the verses: lit for each one sung, the next one breathing. Every battle starts the hymn afresh, with no verse sung.
| Chorus | Hymn | Requiem, 3 slain |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100% | 220% |
| 2 | 150% | 330% |
| 3 | 200% | 440% |
| 4 | 250% | 550% |
Shares of her power plus arcana, to every enemy, as arcane damage, for each chorus of a battle. Under Requiem with none slain it rings as the Hymn does. Under the Hymn the chorus is every third verse, under Requiem every fourth.
GUARD the Heavies: a broken hymn loses the verses sung and starts the swell again from 100%.

What the bosses say
Each boss has one line kept for Wyn, said once, at the start of a fight.
Unlocking Wyn
While locked, hero select says: "Silence 10 Drowned Cantors to unlock." Slay 10 Drowned Cantors on the battles you win. They are found in the Drowned Reliquary, floors 11 to 20, so she needs the full game. The Drowned Cantors are counted on every battle won, a Daily Descent's or a dive's too but not a seed-code run's, and she joins you when a normal run ends.
