Settings and languages
Settings opens from the title; in a run the gear button opens the same panel as a pause menu.

At the foot of the title's panel: "About & legal" and "Done". The pause menu ends with "Resume", "Save and quit" and "Abandon run" (tap twice).
- Save and quit keeps the run for "Continue" on the title. The game also saves after every action, so closing the app loses nothing.
- Arrows are the green upgrade arrows on tiles. On auto they fade once you have a run behind you.
- Play data is anonymous play events with no names. Turning it off also deletes what was sent.
Languages
Gold Below speaks English, Deutsch, Čeština, Nederlands, Español and Português. It follows your phone's language if it is one of the six, and English otherwise. To choose: Settings from the title, then the globe on the panel's plate, then "Phone" or a language.
Board names, typed text and codes are never translated.
News
"Mail" signs you up for news by email: you get a link to confirm, and only that link puts you on the list. "Stop anytime." The Discord button opens the game's server.
Playing offline
Runs play offline. The Dragon's Hoard, the board, cloud save, the Season Descent and purchases need a connection, and what could not be sent waits on the phone.
Play Gold BelowThe first ten floors are free. No ads, and it plays offline.
